History

This year marks the twelfth year of the David L. Fisher Foundation. The Foundation's benefits have provided a means for friends and family to raise money for a serious and often terminal disease. 

Among the previous benefactors of the David L. Fisher Foundation are:

• Children's Oncology Services of Illinois, Inc. (COSI), is a not-for-profit charitable corporation, dedicated to helping children, afflicted with cancer or leukemia, to lead a 'normal' life. Their mission is to provide positive, safe, and fun programs for children and adolescents, that have been diagnosed with cancer, while benefiting volunteers and families, affected by childhood cancer. This mission is accomplished primarily through The One Step At A Time camps and other programs, by providing educational, social and physical development services to children with cancer, regardless of their ability to pay.
  
• Cancer Wellness Center, through psychosocial support and education, seeks to empower those affected by cancer to enhance the quality of their lives.
